The Snap® ballpoint pen is characterised by its formally clear design language made for people with a penchant for puristic minimalist aesthetics. This design pinea set is combined with a mother-of-pearl finish that underlines the high-quality overall impression. Its clip gives its name for the ballpoint pen with push mechanism. When the lead is extended, it snaps into the handle mechanism. By pressing on the upper part of the clip, the mechanism is unlocked and the lead retracted. The Snap® ballpoint pen is mostly made of recyclable metal. Both the pusher and the aluminium shaft are cylindrically shaped. This shape transitions into the tapered brass tip. The brass tip is heavy, compared to aluminium, ensures that the centre of gravity is shifted to the tip, allowing ergonomically optimised writing. The device is equipped with a replaceable large-capacity refill with soft tip (size M) and a blue, indelible paste according to ISO 12757-2. While the handle, clip and tip are shiny chrome-plated, the aluminium shaft is painted pearly. This gives the device its metallic shimmering look, which is available in silver, platinum, gold, rose gold, copper and frost blue.
